This small parish church is not as significant as the large St. Martin’s on the other side of the town, but it is just as beautiful to look at. The amount of care and attention that has been shown in the construction of this building is quite wonderful. Made almost entirely from local stone and timber, the gilding and the carving are well worth a close look as they are illuminated by the interesting coloured light of the stained glass.
