This old church, which is typical of the ‘southern’ French style is a fantastic piece of architecture in its own right, and has been celebrated for many centuries as an iconic piece of ecclesiastical architecture. Today, the church is no longer used as a religious venue but instead houses a fine collection of Gallo-Roman exhibits which have been collected from the vast amounts of excavation work that have taken place in the area around Narbonne in the last few hundred years.
