The fine looking parish church has been the centre of community life for several centuries and there has been a place of worship on, or close to, this site for the best part of a thousand years. The church has been noted for the exceptional stained glass that its grandly carved windows display. Best viewed from the interior, the windows bathe the old stone atrium with a kaleidoscope of coloured light on a sunny day.
