Place Aristide Briande is the centre of the town, and the main square where the majority of people meet in the daytime. It makes for a very good introduction to the area and has a real French feel about it as the locals mingle, play games and sit in the summer sunshine around the cafes and bars that are flanked by great looking architecture. The shady square is a fine place to spend a lazy afternoon or evening, soaking up French culture.
