The Place du 8th March is a large square on the eastern fringes of the old city, and is the most visited place in the community. It is a centrepiece to the town and is surrounded by good looking buildings, everyone of which has a long and interesting history. Local people and tourists both like to sit back and relax in this square which has several nice cafes and bars in. Watch people go about their daily business in a truly French manner.
