Situated at the heart of Nantes, Place Graslin is one of several extremely important public squares. Laid out around the end of the 18th Century, the charming square has for many centuries served as a central place of meeting and relaxation for the people of the city. There is a great selection of historical buildings to admire, as well as a good collection of cafes, bars and restaurants to enjoy whilst watching the world go by. Many street entertainers congregate in this area.
