The Planetarium is a great place to visit, regardless of how much you know about astronomy already. The state of the art facility allows the visitor to lie back in a chair and gaze up at almost 90,000 stars that surround the earth. The 3D graphics are regarded as some of the best in the business and this centre has been one of the areas top attractions, pleasing both young and old, for many years. The display starts at the beginning and gives you a whistle stop tour of planetary history.
