A fine looking bridge, this is one of the main crossings from the old city area of Périgueux into the newer suburbs. The significance of the bridge isn’t so much the construction itself, but the views that are afforded from standing on it. In the summer it is often lined with tourists who are taking advantage of the amazing views over the strange looking cathedral and the many small historic houses that surround it. At night, much of the old town is lit up.
