The Porte de Nerviau was built in the 15th Century and remains as one of the fe parts of the original fortifications of the city that still remain completely intact. Guarding one of the main entrances to the city, it gives you a strange feeling as you walk through this grand and historic gateway into the city, as if you are entering a different time, a different place, a world that has not been touched by modernity.
