The Porte du Croux is a good looking square tower that stands on one corner of the old city. It is one of the best preserved sections of the old fortifications of the community, and when at it was built would have served as a useful lookout point for the guards. Today the tower has been turned into a small museum and is open to the public to admire a collection of armour and ceramics that have been selected from a vast collection in the local area.
