The old city walls are sadly not complete, but they are still a spectacular reminder of the way in which this little community, like so many other in the area was fortified at one time to protect against attack. The walls are accessible in places and offer fine views of the old city and the more modern parts of the town out to the other side, as well as the beautiful southern French countryside beyond.
