The old ramparts are not completely intact as the time when they were built many hundreds of years ago, but still they offer an interesting insight into the fortifications which this town once enjoyed. It is possible to attain a good view of the old city when you walk along this road, also you are treated to good views of the natural world and the canals and rivers that wind through the heart of the community.
