The old ramparts are not complete, but this section is a good example of the walls that once encircled this small community, protecting it against attack from armies. The ramparts are now very popular with tourists who enjoy good views of the church, central buildings and of course the beautiful countryside that surrounds the town, a far cry from the battles that once took place on these walls.
