The Roman House Museum is one of the best loved places in the old city and is a collection of artefacts that have been found relating to the ancient settlements that existed in this area of France. It has long been known that the Romans had a great deal of activity in the city and it wasn’t until relatively recently that major archaeological digs have found a great deal of evidence in the form of artefacts, which are displayed in this museum.
