The Tarn River flows through Millau and is one of the most spectacular sights you’ll see in the area, cutting through the gorge and flowing past the old town. There are some wonderful walks that can be taken along the banks of the river, taking in the beautiful sights and sounds of nature, framed by the interesting architecture that man has created at the heart of the community. The river is home to a large amount of animals and plants, unique to the region.
