This interesting piece of Roman remains is one of the more talked about in the community. There is speculation as to what exactly it was part of, although in recent times, most archaeologists and historians have come to a consensus that it is probably the only remaining part of the great Gallo-Roman temple that stood in this area. The temple was named after Vesuna, a Roman god, known as the protector of Périgueux.
