The town hall is one of the best looking buildings in this small town, which in recent times has been somewhat overshadowed by the construction of the huge Disneyland resort on the doorstep. However, unlike the purpose built castles that lie nearby, this mayor’s office and town hall is an interesting example of the local architectural style and is a testament to the importance that local architects and authorities still put on the devolved power of the Republic, an idea that has changed very little since the |French Revolution.
