The town museum is located in the chateau area of the old town and contains a great many artefacts and documents that relate to the history of the town and the surrounding areas. The museum has been arranged in such a way as to make it an engaging and interesting experience for all comers, regardless of age or nationality. There are some good pieces of art inspired by the town on display in the foyer of the museum.
