The local museum is dedicated to telling the history of this town and the surrounding region that relies on it. The museum is filled with interesting and intriguing artefacts that have been collected over a period of many hundreds of years and put together into a fine collection which has been arranged so as to enthuse all who visit. As well as ancient documents and pictures, there are works of art and pieces of antique furniture on display.
