The Turcan Stadium hosts a great many sporting and social events throughout the year and is one of the largest and most popular venues in the community. The stadium is the home ground for the local football and rugby teams and is a fine place to see the French people at their most animated, cheering on the local sides. On occasion the stadium is used for large scale musical events that attract visitors from far and wide.
