The bell tower is one of the most noticeable features of the middle ages that you will see when you enter the heart of the old city. An incredible piece of ancient architecture, it rises high above the Grand Rue, on which it stands, and still today chimes and is what the people of the city set their watch by. The structure supporting it is just as well crafted and has been refurbished on several occasions to keep it looking as good as new.
