Situated at the heart of the old town in Rouen, this interesting and quite unique museum is one of the more popular visitor attractions in the city. Dedicated to the art and craft of being a blacksmith, the museum is filled with many thousands of artefacts collected over a period of nearly two thousand years, ranging from horseshoes to scissors and other domestic items. The exhibition takes visitors on a journey through time explaining the roots of the craft.
