The Botanical Gardens are one of the best collections of rare and wild plants in this area of France. Located on the western side of the town centre, the gardens are a little out of the central suburbs, but are still well within walking distance of most of the main attractions. The collection is made up of plants that have been collected from across the world, many of which are rare and tropical, having to be kept in hothouses. The flowers and plants are well labelled.
