Situated in the St. Servant area of Saint Malo, to the south of the old city, this fine old museum is housed in one of the older buildings of the area, built in the 14th Century. The collection is full of exhibits that relate to the exploration of the sea over the past hundreds of years. It is particularly associated with the rounding of Cape Horn, and celebrates the many sailors who achieved this with limited technology in the 17th and 18th Century.
