This cemetery is the fourth to be built in the history of the city and was laid out in around 1850. There are around 250,000 graves that one can walk around in this area, a truly awe inspiring sight. The graves are a good way of tracing the history of the area and the great industrial families that have played their part through the centuries of making it into what we see today. The cemetery is well wooded in areas and a fascinating place to spend an hour or two.
