City Park is located just to the west of the oldest part of Toulon. It was planned out as a public place of rest and relaxation, a place to escape the busy streets and the large military naval port on the coast. The park has a selection of mature trees in it and is flanked by many flowerbeds that have been planted in such a fashion to make it a colourful and interesting place to visit no matter what time of the year it is. The area is popular with locals and visitors to the area.
