Almost every town and city in France has a public art museum, the French really are dedicated to their fine arts, and this city is no exception. The good sized facility is located down by the river and has a good permanent collection of works in a series of rooms that range from the early Renaissance periods up until modern day. There are a couple of pieces by Picasso which are probably the highlights of a wander around the fantastic museum.
