The Museum of Fine Arts is one of the best art galleries in this area and offers a great range of paintings and other artworks for visitors and locals to browse throughout the year. As with the majority of provincial galleries, the majority of work on display has been gathered from the artists of the major European art schools and mainly hails from the last four or five hundred years.
