There are a great many paintings that span over a period of about five hundred years in the fine art gallery. The majority of the major European schools of art have been represented from Italy, to the Flemish, the Dutch and the English. There is as you might expect a slight bias towards French artists, especially those who have either had an association with the town and local area or have found inspiration from it.
