Freland Forest is located to the north of the community and is a wonderful area that has been left to lay fallow by the local authority. This protection has allowed a good many unusual birds and animals to make their homes amongst the tick vegetation. You are invited to walk through some of the tracks through the forest to get a real feel for the pastoral splendour of this area of France, a real treat for nature lovers.
