The Glanum is an ancient archaeological site that has been excavated over a relatively long period of time. The Romans were particularly active in this area of southern France, so it was not a complete surprise when the remains of this ancient temple were found. It is a fascinating place to visit and to look at the ancient stone columns that would have been put together around two thousand years ago, and still look just as elegant today.
