Situated just two kilometres off the mainland, the charming Ile de Batz is a great place to go for a day trip if you are staying in the Roscoff area. The island is tiny, only four square kilometres, so it doesn’t take long to explore it all. It has some wonderful gardens and some really beautiful unspoilt beaches that remain one of the biggest draws to the island community. Regular boats run from the old port area of Roscoff to the island throughout the year.
