The River Tarn flows extremely close to this beautiful little community and is the reason that the settlement was able to be built. The river is a beautiful confluence that has attracted a great deal of natural beauty over the years, including wild flowers and plants and animals and birds that live in them. There are several walkways that follow the banks of the river and are popular retreats for local people and visitors to the area.
