La Var is a large river which meets the sea near this small community, not a very long way away from Nice. The river winds its way along the coast for many miles before making a path further inland. Today the banks of the river are mostly used by tourists and local people who are looking to enjoy a walk along the banks, following the confluence into the countryside and admiring the animal and plant life that lives around it.
