This park is situated in the north of the town and is a good sized public green area owned and managed by the local authority. Flanked by a selection of mature trees, the park has a series of walkways running around it that have been built around flowerbeds that show examples of many of the beautiful local varieties. The park is a popular area for people to visit and attracts a good many locals in the summer months to relax in the pastoral splendour.
