As much of the old town was decimated by the great fire in the city of the 18th Century, there are few exceptional examples of old houses left in the community. That said, this building is one that managed to survive and is almost unique in that it exhibits a Breton architectural style that you will not really see anywhere else in the city. The house was carved in the 14th Century, and it is obvious that it was a massive project to undertake. The building was named after a Breton warrior.
