The Mandet Museum is the primary fine arts and sculpture gallery in the city. It is housed in a good looking building at the heart of the city and is an institution in which the local people take a great deal of pride. The museum is open to the public throughout the year and contains a great many fine works of art which range from the oldest oil paintings of the Italian school to more modern pieces from Parisian based artists.
