The Pagan House is one of the real ancient gems that remain in this city, and hasn’t been changed since it was built in the 12th Century. The building is located close to the centre of the old walled city and is open to the public to see the interior fittings and fixtures which are of real interest, because they give an insight into how people lived eight hundred or so years ago. The house was thought to be cursed in times gone by, and is elaborately decorated as a warning.
