To visit Place Duupuy, is to step back in time. It feels as if you have walked into a small village within the city of Toulouse. The amazing square is surrounded by old cafes, where the people of the area sit and watch the world go by, sipping coffee and chatting about the day’s affairs. The centrepiece of the square is a fountain, created in the nineteenth century and yet another monument to the Napoleonic victories in Europe.
