This museum is situated down by the river in Quimper, just behind the HB Henriot pottery factory, which has been one of the lifeblood’s of the Breton industrial market for many years. The museum, which also allows tours of the factory, is full of many exhibits of pottery that have been made over many hundreds of years of potting in the area. The exhibition traces the story of pottery back to the very earliest times and shows how it has developed in style and why it is still so well loved today.
