The prefecture building is always an important part of any community. It is a great honour to be made an administrative centre of a prefecture, and therefore the building has usually to be just as impressive as the local people want it to be. This piece of architecture has not let the republic down and is tall and strong in its grey facades. The building has within it a large administrative centre, but the open hallways are a great place to see some fine furniture.
