This forest is situated to the west of the town from which it takes its name. It is a large green area that has been almost untouched by man for a great many years. This has allowed it to develop into a first class haven for wild plan life and animals that have made their habitat in this interesting woodland. There are a series of pathways and tracks that lead through the forest and make for a great place to enjoy pastoral France at its best.
