The Saint Elizabeth Bridge consists of three arches that cross the river and supply a lifeline to the small community. Historically, the bridge that was built in the 13th Century, would have been a defensive platform which the locals could close if they ever felt under threat. Today it is a beautiful testimony to a rich and colourful past, and an excellent place from which you are able to view the ancient centre of the town.
