St. Ětienne Church is situated south of the main town centre in Tours. It isn’t quite as grand as the main cathedral building, close to the river. However the church is recognised as being one of the best examples of the regional architectural style, employed across a whole series of ecclesiastical structures in the region. A short walk around the outside of the church will reveal some fine stonework and stained glass that are often missed by visitors to the town.
