This is the oldest church in the city, and without too much controversy, one of the more interesting to visit. It is thought that the first stones were laid for the church in the late 11th Century and the main nave area is dated to the mid 12th Century. There are several noteworthy parts of the church, but the main attraction remains the amazing Gothic rood screen which dates from the 15th Century, a beautiful and priceless artefact.
