This enormous basilica is a masterpiece of ancient architecture, a testimony to the importance that the people of the area have always put on religious buildings. The building is a little worn around the edges, but the true majesty of the project still shines through. It is named after Remigius, the bishop who in the 5th Century baptised Clovis and his three thousand warriors nearby. The church has been added to throughout the centuries and is an interesting fusion of styles today.
