Built to host the football World Cup of 1998; this impressive stadium seats 80,000 people making it one of the largest in the country. The stadium since that major tournament has been used for a variety of purposes and usually hosts the French national football and rugby teams when they are playing in the north of France. It is possible to go on a tour of this vast stadium, which has a roof-span the same size as the Place de la Concord in central Paris.
