The local swimming pool is a popular retreat for people that live in the community and the many visitors who come to the area on a regular basis. The fine looking public baths is open for general lane swimming for most of the week, although on weekends there are fund day events held, which are designed to appeal to the whole family. These days become more frequent during the summer holidays from school too.
