The Touraine Wine Museum explores the interesting history of winemaking, both in the city of Tours, and across the wider region. Situated in the 13th Century cellars of the Abbaye St. Julien, this vaulted exhibition allows visitors to step back in time and see some of the processes that have been traditionally used to produce some of the finest wines in the country. There are photographs, pictures, artefacts and documents that help tell the story of the industry.
