The town hall is a marvellous piece of municipal architecture, built in 1874. Its mighty grey façade rises high above the surrounding buildings in a majestic fashion, and you could be forgiven for thinking it was a religious building it has such grace. The hall is surrounded by some wonderfully planted flower gardens, making it a real point of pride for the people of the community, who use it as an administrative centre.
